HATV is a native Android TV and Google TV app that turns the television into an intelligent home automation control panel, fully usable with the remote. It connects directly to the user Home Assistant server and lets you view and control lights, covers, climate devices, sensors, cameras, scenes and automations from the living room.

REST and WebSocket communication over the user local network. Credentials are encrypted with Android Keystore (AES/GCM) and never leave the device.
